Hi, I'm Zach Janczak.
I own and run Chenango Web Design. I've been building websites for 16 years now — I got my first professional gig at 18, writing a custom PHP system for an advertising company, and just kept going from there. I grew up in Norwich without a lot of money, spent plenty of afternoons at Guernsey Memorial Library on Court Street, and this business started here.
In 2025 I relocated to Birmingham, Alabama to grow my career. We could easily leave that off this page and let people assume otherwise — we won't. Norwich is still home in every way that matters: my family's here, I'm back visiting often, and we have local consultants who meet with Chenango County clients in person whenever that's the right call. Being upfront about where we stand is the same standard we hold to once you're a client.
I'm not trying to build an empire or get rich off this. I just want to make a decent living doing work I'm good at, and take care of the people who hire me. Outside of work I'm usually out on a fourwheeler, not stuck behind a screen — technology just happens to be what I'm naturally good at, so that's what I built a career around.
